Width: 32mm

Standing Virgin (probably Virgin and Child); standing unidentified male saint holding a staff (possibly saint James the Greater); crown.
Foliated decoration in the spandrels.

Museum's opinion 2013: French, 15th century.

Reverse
Flat, with many cracks.

Object Condition
Missing: left side of the panel probably including another saint and Christ in the Virgin's arms.
Numerous vertical cracks have caused the panel to break into several pieces which have been put back together. Ivory very dry.

Provenance
Purchased in 1959.
