Annunciation; dove of the Holy Spirit.
Twisted columns.

Williamson and Davies 2014: Italian (Venice), probably about 1390-1410

Unknown

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Longer edges slightly chamfered.

Object Condition
Chipped. The upper and lower edge are irregular. Later hole in the upper part of the panel for suspension.
Fire damage along the lower edge. Worn.

Provenance
Given to museum by Mrs A.W. Hearn, Menton, in 1923 (possibly identifiable in her records as a purchase from July 1912 (for 950 fr.)).
