Annunciation; vase of lilies. Visitation; dove of the Holy Spirit. Nativity; curtain. Presentation in the Temple; Christ standing on the altar between the Virgin and Simeon; hanging lamp.
Body, front
Legend of saint Eustace: saint Eustace hunting on horseback blowing a horn; vision of saint Eustace; saint Eustace kneeling; head of Christ between the stag's antlers; saint Eustace leading his family to be baptised; trees.
End, right
Baptism of saint Eustace and his family; bishop with mitre and crozier.
Body, back
Saint Eustace and his family (wife and two sons) flee Rome. The sea voyage of saint Eustace and his family; the captain of the boat leaving with Eustace's wife by way of payment for the journey. One of Eustace's sons is seized by a lion; Eustace's second son is seized by a wolf; trees.
End, left
Hadrian orders saint Eustace and his family to be burnt alive in a brazen bull (ox); executioner with winged hat; martyrdom of saint Eustace; hand of God; bellows.

Object Condition
The brass lion feet and the fittings are believed to be modern.
Holes for missing fittings.
