King holding a sword; king with a hawk on his wrist; soldiers in armour; shields.

Westwood 1876 and Vöge 1900: Germany (?), 14th century.

Traces of polychromy and gilding (Volbach 1923).

Reverse
Carved in the round.

Object Condition
Almost completely destroyed during WWII: two fragments have survived.

Provenance
Already part of the Kunstkammer in 1825; undocumented after 7 April 1945; brought to Wiesbaden in 1946; returned to Berlin-Dahlem in 1958.
