Two later hinges.
Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy and gilding (not original): red (lips), gold (trefoils; hair and beard; crown; along the hems).
Reverse
Flat and smooth.
Inscription '4088 [...]' on the back of the right wing.
Object Condition
Missing: candles.
Broken around the hinges. Lower part of the right wing damaged.

Collection of the Hon. Robert Curzon, Jr. (b. 1810, d. 1873), latterly Lord Zouche, by 1862; purchased by the museum from the Zouche collection in 1891.
