Height: 82mm

Depth: 5mm

Crucifixion; Virgin supported by the Holy Women; Saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls; Longinus with spear kneeling in prayer; Stephaton giving Christ vinegar.
Pointed trefoils.


Koechlin Number: 0614

Koechlin 1924: France, 2nd half of the 14th century.
Museum's opinion 2010: late 14th century or early 15th century.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the left side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. A few scratches. Labels: '664' or '604', cancelled and replaced by 'kgm 4'; '604'.

Object Condition
Two holes in the upper part of the panel and one hole in the lower part.
Broken around the lower hinge.

Provenance
Bequest of Alexandre Straub (1825-1891), in 1893.
