Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist; Adam rising from a tomb and collecting Christ's blood in a chalice at the foot of the cross; sun and moon; clouds.

Kube 1925: France, 1st quarter of the 14th century.
Kryzhanovskaya 2014: France (?), 1st half of the 14th century.


Traces of two missing hinges on the left side.

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy and/or gilding: haloes, trefoil in the gable.

Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
Central hole in the upper part of the panel (only visible from the back, must exit in the upper border).

Collection of Mikhail Petrovich Botkin (b. 1839, d. 1914), Saint Petersburg; transferred to the Hermitage in 1919.
