Wing, left
Register 1: Betrothal of Joseph and the Virgin; high priest. Nativity (Virgo Lactans).
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi; Entry into Jerusalem.
Wing, right
Register 1: Flight into Egypt; Adoration of the Shepherds.
Register 2: Betrayal (Taking of Christ; Kiss of Judas); Christ restores Malchus' ear, cut by saint Peter; Crucifixion; Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist kneeling.
Pointed trefoils in the spandrels.

Williamson and Davies 2014: French or Netherlandish, late 19th century.

Flat and smooth. Inner edges slightly chamfered.

Provenance
Before 1923, in the collection of Alfred William Hearn (b. 1842, d. 1903) and his widow Ellen Hearn, Menton; sent to museum in 1923; not accessioned until 1931.
