Register 1: Annunciation; dove of the Holy Spirit; vase of lilies.
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi.
Register 3: Agony in the Garden (Christ at Gethsemane); apostles asleep; trees.
Centre panel
Register 1: Betrayal (Taking of Christ; Kiss of Judas); Christ restores Malchus' ear, cut by saint Peter; saint Peter sheathing his sword after cutting off Malchus' ear.
Register 2: Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls; Longinus with spear kneeling in prayer; Stephaton giving Christ vinegar; Stephaton holding a bucket.
Register 3: Three Holy Women at the Tomb, with angel seated on the tomb and three soldiers asleep; shields. Noli me Tangere (Christ appearing to saint Mary Magdalene); tree.
Wing, right
Register 1: Nativity; angel holding a scroll (evoking the Annunciation to the Shepherds).
Register 2: Christ washing the feet of the apostles.
Register 3: Flagellation.

Unknown

Hinges
Three hinges on either side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Pencil inscription: 'n. 99'. Blue and white labels with inscriptions: '33' and '1305'.

Provenance
In the collection assembled by Alexandre Le Grand for the museum by 1888. Described in a pre-1888 handwritten inventory kept at the museum as: 'Triptyque Ivoire gothique: scènes de la passion' (p. 6).
