Some parts flat. Uneven surface with scoring and traces of glue.

Object Condition
Part of the book held by the Virgin is broken.

Provenance
Possibly in the collection of Prince Clemens Wenzel Lothar Metternich (b. May 15, 1773 - d. June 11, 1859), Austria (according to a document by Georg Swarzenski dated 11 February 1954). Mathias Komor (b. 1909 - d. 1984), New York; sold by Komor in 1954 to the Museum of Fine Arts for $550 (H. E. Bolles fund).
