Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist; two angels.
Rosettes in the spandrels.

Randall 1985 and Museum's opinion 2010: England or France, N., 2nd quarter of the 14th century. Unusual details suggest a centre unrelated to Paris.

Traces of two missing hinges on the left side.

Object Condition
Borders broken in many places. Worn, especially the faces.
Discolouration.

Comments
The plaque was stained dark brown.

Provenance
Émile Molinier collection, Paris: sold, Drouot, Paris, 21-28 June 1906, lot 155. Dikran Kelekian, Constantinople and Paris. Bought by Henry Walters in 1917; Walters Art Museum, 1931, by bequest.
