Register 1: angels in prayer.
Register 2: Visitation; Annunciation (with the angel in the gable).
Register 3: Adoring Magi (part of the Adoration of the Magi).
Centre panel
Standing Virgin and Child; Virgin holding a flower in her right hand; Christ holding a fruit in his left hand.
Wings, right
Register 1: angels in prayer.
Register 2: Nativity with the Virgin holding the swaddled child.
Register 3: Presentation in the Temple; Joseph holding a candle and a basket of doves brought as offerings.

Koechlin 1924: France, end of the 1st third of the 14th century.

Hinges
Two sets of two ring hinges on either side.

Object Condition
Missing: part of the background of the centre panel, to the left; pinnacles; colonnettes supporting the canopy above the Virgin and Child.

Comments
Strangely, the Visitation precedes here the Annunciation.

Provenance
Acquired by the museum before 1854.
