Adoration of Christ Child (Nativity); naked Christ; God the Father blessing; kneeling angel and standing angel holding a cloth; angel holding a scroll alluding to the Annunciation to the Shepherds; angel swinging a censer.
Foliated border; crosshatched background. Inscription: 'GLORIA IN ECCELCI'DEO'.

Reverse
The handle which was originally set into a chamfered slot in the back has been lost.
Border with roped pattern.

Object Condition
Worn. Flaking at the back and on some edges.

Collection of Joseph Désiré de Lupus, Brussels; bought by the state in 1819; Musée Lupus, Brussels (until 1822); Koninklijk Kabinet van Zeldzaamheden, The Hague (1823); Nederlandsch Museum voor Geschiedenis en Kunst, The Hague (1875); transferred to Amsterdam in 1883.
