Standing Virgin and Child (Vierge glorieuse); angel crowning the Virgin; standing angels holding candlesticks.
Angels holding navettes and swinging censers in the spandrels.
Wing, right
Crucifixion with the Virgin and Saint John the Evangelist.
Angels crying in the spandrels.
Bands of square flowers.

Gaborit-Chopin 2003 and Museum's opinion 2010: France, middle or 3rd quarter of the 14th century (?)

Object Condition
Ivory cracked.
Restoration around one of the hinges (the other is broken).

Collection of Édouard Corroyer, Paris; gift of Mrs Édouard Corroyer, 1905; on loan to the Musée national du Moyen Âge-Musée de Cluny since 1954, renewed by arrêté of 10 July 1986.
