Height: 117mm
Width: 75mm

Register 1: Betrayal (Taking of Christ; Kiss of Judas); Christ restores Malchus' ear, cut by saint Peter. Flagellation; whips; fashionable dress; hanging purse.
Register 2: Nativity and Annunciation to the Shepherds; swaddled Christ. Adoration of the Magi.
Pointed trefoils; borders of dentils.

Museum's opinion 2013: France, 14th century.

Unknown

Reverse
Flat with recessed areas where the rows of pierced trefoils feature. Some scoring. Pencil inscription: '8'.

Object Condition
The upper right border is cracked.

Provenance
Bequest of marquess Giuseppe Sigismondo Ala Ponzone in 1842, and previously inventoried as 'Antico Inv. Ponzone XI.N, n. 89'.
