Ivory;bone;gilt wood (later frame, possibly 16th century)

Height: 220mm
Width: 200mm

Register 1: Annunciation; Adoration of the Magi.
Register 2: Entry into Jerusalem. Last Supper with saint John the Evangelist leaning on Christ's breast. Betrayal (Taking of Christ; Kiss of Judas); Christ restores Malchus' ear, cut by saint Peter. Flagellation.
Register 3: Christ before Pilate; Pilate washing his hands. Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls. Entombment with Holy Women. Resurrection with three soldiers asleep.
Foliated decoration. Pointed trefoils.

Zastrow 1978: 15th century. The Annunciation and Adoration scenes are later.
Museum's opinion 2009: North Italian or French (?), 15th or 16th century.
Williamson and Davies 2014: North Italian (Venice), c. 1360-1370.
