Standing Virgin and Child (Vierge glorieuse); Christ seated on left arm; Virgin holding a flower in her right hand; Christ holding a fruit or orb in his left hand; two standing angels holding candlesticks.

Utrecht 1987: France, 3rd quarter of the 14th century.
's-Heerenberg 2008: Paris, 2nd quarter of the 14th century.


Traces of two missing hinges on the right side.

Object Condition

Collection of Michiel Onnes of Nijenrode (d. 1972), Breukelen: his sale, Amsterdam, 4-7 July 1933, lot 198; purchased for the museum by Jan Herman van Heek from Brimo de Laroussilhe, art dealer, Paris, in July 1933.
