Wing, left
Register 1: Entry into Jerusalem.
Register 2: Last Supper; Christ feeding an apostle across the table (possibly Judas); saint Paul holding a sword; saint Peter holding a key; apostle drinking from a chalice. Judas receiving the reward.
Register 3: Death of Judas (Judas hanging). Flagellation; Carrying of the Cross with the Virgin helping Christ.
Wing, right
Register 1: Men conversing (possibly part of the Entry into Jerusalem on the facing wing); Christ washing the feet of the apostles.
Register 2: Agony in the Garden (Christ at Gethsemane). Betrayal (Taking of Christ; Kiss of Judas); Christ restores Malchus' ear, cut by saint Peter.
Register 3: Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls; Longinus piercing Christ's side; Stephaton giving Christ vinegar; Stephaton holding a bucket; sun and moon.

Koechlin 1924: France, 2nd half of the 14th century.
Theuerkauff 1962: France, 2nd half of the 14th century.
Kirchweger 2011: Middle Rhineland (Mainz?), last quarter of the 14th century.

Two missing hinges.

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
Broken around the hinges.

Comments
Engraved inscription under the arches of the upper register: A N 1524 N O. These two panels were integrated into a tortoise-shell 17th-century German object (Koechlin 1924).
