Reverse recessed for wax. Reverse divided into two compartments, the deeper being at the top. Both are crudly scratched with crosshatching.
Object Condition
Missing: right side of the panel (probably including saint John the Evangelist).
Provenance
Found during excavation on the site of Baynards Castle. Mislaid (before 1998).
