Wing, left
Adoration of the Magi; Christ making a blessing gesture.
Wing, right
Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls; male figure with spear (possibly Longinus); Stephaton giving Christ vinegar.
Border of dentils. Pointed trefoils in the spandrels.

Traces of gilding and polychromy (light).

Reverse
On both wings, inscribed in ink: 'Revoil 414'.
On the left wing: 'no. 119', 'no. 876', 'N. 1042', 'A 40'.
On the right wing: '161'; labelled: 'no. 877'.

Object Condition
Good condition. 2 modern holes at the top of each wing.

Provenance
Collection of Pierre Révoil, Lyon (no. 356). Acquired by the Musée du Louvre in 1828.
