Legend of Saint Eustace.
Register 1: saint Eustace and his family; soldier in armour. Battle; knights in armour on horseback; soldiers with heart-shaped shields with a face; helms.
Register 2: Eustace and his family refuse to worship pagan statues; Eustace and his family kneel in prayer before the blessing hand of God; clouds; Hadrian worships idols; king. Hadrian orders saint Eustace and his family to be burnt alive in a brazen bull (ox); executioner with winged hat; martyrdom of saint Eustace; angel.

Chiesi 2011: Paris, c. 1320-1340.

Flat and smooth, with some scratches.

Object Condition
Missing: part of the lower right corner. Holes for the missing fittings.

Carrand collection: bequeathed by Louis Carrand (d. 1888) to the Museo del Bargello in 1888.
