Enthroned bishop with mitre, book and crozier; hanging purse.

Carved in the round.

Object Condition
Missing: upper part of the mitre.
Face very worn. Precious stones or coloured glass probably were fitted in the eye sockets.

Provenance
Found at the Riserup vicarage, Falster island, in 1848.
