Numerous holes for fittings now lost.

Comments
This panel probably came from the same casket as another one formerly in the Darmstadt collection, but whose whereabouts are now unknown (see related objects).

Provenance
Collection of Baron von Hüpsch (b. 1730, d. 1805), Cologne; acquired in 1805 by the Museum.
