Register 1: Last Supper with saint John the Evangelist leaning on Christ's breast; Christ feeding Judas across the table.
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi.
Register 3: Annunciation; vase of lilies; dove of the Holy Spirit.
Wing, right
Register 1: Crucifixion; sun and the moon; swooning Virgin supported by the Holy Women; Saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls; rugged cross.
Register 2: Entry into Jerusalem.
Register 3: Nativity and Annunciation to the Shepherds; swaddled child.
Border of dentils. Beaded borders.

Gaborit-Chopin 2003 and Museum's opinion 2013: Meuse or Germany, 3rd quarter of the 14th century.

Hinges
Two hinges.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Longer edges chamfered.

Object Condition
Missing: the column at the left of the Annunciation scene.
Breakage around the lower hinge (repair visible when closed).

Provenance
Collection of Louis Hugot, Paris; bequest of Louis Hugot to the Museum in 1924; on loan to the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire, Metz, by arrêté of 24 April 1987.
