Extensive traces of gilding and polychromy.

Object Condition
Missing: lower parts of the Last Supper, Agony in the Garden, and Harrowing of Hell panels.

Comments
These panels were arranged as a cross in the 19th century, when in the collection of Du Sommerard. The Visitation panel is cut in such a way that it seems to have accommodated space for the lock or hinges to the right.

Provenance
Delaunay collection: sold, 19 March 1827, no. 747 (auctioneer: Bonnefons de Lavialle), to Alexandre Du Sommerard; collection of Alexandre Du Sommerard: acquired for the museum in 1843.
