Carved inscription: 'VERI ADORATORES ADORABVNT PATREM IN SPIRITV ET VERITATE IHO[ANN]IS 4°' (The true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth. John 4, 23).
Vienna 1991: Burgundian-Netherlandish, c. 1453-1467. The date is based on the presence of heraldic emblems (fire steel and flint; double 'e') used by Duke Philip the Good from 1453 to 1467.
