Wing, left
Register 1: Judas receiving the reward. Betrayal (Taking of Christ; Kiss of Judas); Christ restores Malchus' ear, cut by saint Peter.
Register 2: Annunciation; vase of lilies; dove of the Holy Spirit. Nativity and Annunciation to the Shepherds.
Wing, right
Register 1: Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist; cruciform halo. Entombment (Anointing of Christ's body), with Holy Women.
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi; angel crowning the Virgin. Presentation in the Temple; Christ standing on the altar between the Virgin and Simeon; hanging lamp.

The Hague 1963: France, 1st half of the 15th century.
Utrecht 1967: France, 2nd half of the 14th century.
Koekkoek 1987: Germany ? (Mainz?), c. 1400.

Hinges
Two hinges.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Modern labels.

Object Condition
Missing: left hand of the angel in the Nativity scene.
Hands of Christ in the Betrayal scene partly broken. Broken around the lower hinge (repaired).

Provenance
From the collection at Heeswijk castle. Collection of Baron van den Bogaert, Bois-le-Duc, 24 September 1901, lot 359. Given by J. B. Westerwoud from Haarlem on 7 March 1905.
