Small crack through angel's face at left, running up into wing; another small split at right.

Provenance
Found in Oxford, probably c. 1882, during excavation work for the foundations of additions to the Indian Institute (junction of Broad St and Holywell st); purchased by Mr. Maclure, Clerk of the University Works, from the workman who found it; presented by Maclure to the Museum in 1892.
