Traces of two missing hinges on the right side (later). Three sets of two holes visible from the back along the right side (when viewed from the back).

Reverse
Flat and smooth, with a circular recess, indicating this was probably a writing tablet.

Two sets of two holes along the right side (probably for later hinges). Three sets of two holes along the right side (when viewed from the back).

Provenance
Collection of Bogdan Khanenko (b. 1848, d. 1917) and Varvara Khanenko: given with the rest of the collection by Varvara Khanenko in 1918 to the city of Kiev.
