Register 1: Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist. Coronation of the Virgin.
Register 2: Flagellation of the Christ; Christ tied to the column of the Flagellation. Carrying of the Cross with the Virgin helping Christ; man holding nails.
Crosshatched background; pointed trefoils.

Gruyer 1902 and Paris 1930: France, end of 14th century.


Traces of two missing hinges on the left side.

Recessed, with inner fillet. Four horizontal slots along the left side. Traces of green wax.
Labels with inscriptions: '446', '1029', '41'.

Object Condition
Broken around the hinges. Vertical crack.

Collection of Léon Bonnat (b. 1833, d. 1922): his bequest in 1922.
