Register 1: Crucifixion; swooning Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls.
Register 2: Flagellation.
Pointed trefoils in the spandrels.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the right side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Longer edges slightly chamfered.

Object Condition
Missing: part of the lower right border; broken around the hinges.
Two holes in the upper part of the panel.

The right wing of this diptych is Liverpool, Walker Art Gallery, M 8004. See related objects.
