Roses in the spandrels.

Reverse
Back turned with a depression for (missing) mirror. Corner terminals carved in the round. Modern ink inscriptions: 'O. W/' and '99'.

Object Condition
Cracked through shield.

Provenance
Collection of William Maskell (b. 1814, d. 1890) (no. 99?): bought from him by the British Museum in 1856.
