Register 1: Annunciation; vase of lilies. Visitation.
Register 2: Adoration of the Magi.
Wing, right
Register 1: Nativity and Annunciation to the Shepherds; hanging lamp; musician shepherd holding bagpipes.
Register 2: Presentation at the Temple; maid holding a candle and a basket of doves brought as offerings.
Rosettes in the spandrels.

Kassel 1999: Paris, late 13th century.

Hinges
One long hinge.

Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy: red (architectural details; rosettes), green (spandrels; flower stem; lining of cloaks), brown (hair), blue, black (painted haloes).

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
Crack in the lower border of the right wing.
Missing: right forearm of the kneeling magus.
Two holes in the upper edge of the left wing, close to the upper right corner.

This piece is Inv. Nr. HMWK 3003301 in the collection of the Hessisches Ministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst.

Acquired in 1963 from S. Osthoff, Bielefeld.
