Side 1: Creation of Eve; Adam; God. God warning Adam and Eve not to eat from the Tree of Knowledge. Enamel roundel depicting an angel (earlier).
Side 2: Adam and Eve reproved by God (?). Adam and Eve forced to labour (?). Enamel roundel depicting Christ making a blessing gesture (earlier).
Foliated decoration (palmettes).

Museum's opinion 2010: Italy, 14th century.

Carved on both sides.

Object Condition
Hole on either side in the upper part of the comb. Right side (when facing side 1) broken and glued back into place.

Provenance
Castellani collection, Cracow; acquired for the Czartoryski collection in 1893.
