Seated Virgin and Child; Christ standing on the Virgin's left knee; Christ taking his first step; Virgin holding a bird in her right hand; twisting movement of Christ; crown; Christ in long robe.

Object Condition
Missing: left hand (formerly replaced, holding a cross, according to old Walters files); crown partly broken.
Bird partly repaired.
