Wing, left
Standing Virgin and Child (Vierge glorieuse); two standing angels holding candlesticks.
Wing, right
Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist; sun and moon.
Pointed trefoils in the spandrels.

Museum's opinion 2009: Paris, 2nd quarter of the 14th century.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges.

Reverse
Collection label of Félix and Josias Le Sérurier (no. 1629).

Object Condition
Broken around the hinges (ivory repairs). Hole in each corner, filled with ivory plugs.

Provenance
Part of the bequest made by Félix and Josias Le Sérurier in 1883 (their collection label on the reverse).
