Register 2: Three Holy Women at the Tomb, with angel seated on the tomb.
Pointed trefoils in the spandrels.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the left side.

Polychromy - Gilding
Green staining in the background and some on the shroud.

Reverse
Smooth and flat. Green staining. Label with ink inscriptions: '116' and 'W Webb'.

Object Condition
Pierced by four holes along a vertical line down the centre of the panel.

Provenance
Collection of John Webb, England (b. 1611, d. 1672). Collection of Felix Slade (b. 1788, d. 1868): donated by him to the British Museum in 1856.
