Wing, left
Standing Virgin and Child (Vierge glorieuse); Virgin holding a flower in her right hand; Christ holding a fruit in his left hand; two standing angels holding candlesticks; two angels crowning the Virgin.
Wing, right
Crucifixion; Virgin supported by Holy Women; saint John the Evangelist and onlookers holding scrolls; rugged cross; Sun and Moon; titulus. 
Medallions enclosing quatrefoils with protruding cones in the spandrels. Pointed trefoils in the gables.

Liebgott 1885: France (Paris?), c. 1340.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges.

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
The lower mitre of the left wing has been filled.

Provenance
Probably lots 232 and 233 at Count Thott's auction in 1788. Purchased in 1833 in Skelskør for the Nationalmuseet.
