Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy: painted trefoils in the spandrels.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Trace of an incised border along the left side.

Object Condition
Right border damaged near the top and bottom.
Central hole in the upper part of the panel. Incised circle along the upper edge.

Provenance
Collection of Alfred Williams Hearn (b. 1842, d. 1903) and his wife Ellen Hearn; given to the Museum by Mrs. Hearn in 1923.
