Castle of Love; courting couples (meeting of lovers); couple embracing on the battlements; female musician playing the rebec; female musician playing the psaltery; youth with a hawk on his wrist; staircase; lady holding a key at the gate; youth chucking his lover under the chin; offering of a flower; couple making a wreath.

Lazari 1859: 2nd half of the 13th century or early 14th century.
Venice 1988: French?, 14th century.
Museum's opinion 2010: French (?), late 13th century or early 14th century.

Missing: edge broken in places; upper part with central couple (repaired)

Collection of Teodoro Correr, Venice (at least from c. 1800; manuscript inventory evidence): given by him in 1830.
