Polychromy - Gilding
Extensive traces of gilding, especially along the hems of both figures' clothing; traces of red and green on the Virgin.
Carved in the round. Hole in the Virgin's back.
Missing: Virgin's right forearm and left arm; Christ's left forearm; part of the ivory base (replaced); upper part of the Virgin's head (replaced); crown (replaced).
