Wing, left
Nativity and Annunciation to the Shepherds; angel holding a scroll; musician shepherds playing flutes or shawms.
Wing, right
Presentation in the Temple; Christ standing on the altar between the Virgin and Simeon; maid holding a candlestick and a basket of doves brought as offerings.

Jülich 2007: Rhineland, under French influence, 4th quarter of 14th century.

Two hinges.

Reverse
Flat and smooth.
Back of the left wing: blue and white label with inscription '733'.
Back of the right wing: label with inscription '97' and blue and white label with inscription '725'.

Provenance
Probably from the collection of Baron von Hüpsch (b. 1730, d. 1805), Cologne; acquired in 1805 by the Museum.
