Width: 72mm

Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist; skull of Adam at the foot of the cross; bone; rugged cross; titulus.
Brickwork or tiled roof; flamboyant tracery; crosshatched background.
Medallions enclosing quatrefoils in the spandrels.

Randall 1993 and 1994: Dutch (Utrecht), 1440-1470.

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the right side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Carved inscription: 'IHS' within a circle, on a crosshatched background.

Object Condition
Pierced with a hole at the top. Vertical crack.

Gift of John Gellatly in 1929.
