Depth: 13mm

Register 1: Christ in Glory with his feet on a city (possibly Jerusalem); Christ displaying his wounds; angels holding Instruments of the Passion (nails; spear; cross); Virgin Mary and saint John the Baptist kneeling.
Register 2: Resurrection; two angels kneeling on the tomb; two soldiers asleep; shields.

Madrid 1992: Paris, early 14th century.
Aachen 1997: Paris, mid-14th century.


Attribution
'Atelier aux visages caractérisés' (Madrid 1992, following typology established by Koechlin 1924)

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the left side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Label with inscription: '2174'.

Provenance
Purchased from José Ignacio Miró in July 1875.
