Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the right side.

Reverse
Smooth. The section of this piece is that of a truncated cylinder.
Labels with inscriptions: 'A I 1683' and 'Inv: 173'.

Object Condition
Damages in the frame. Lower left and right corners damaged. Numerous holes after modern reparations.

Provenance
Acquired in 1880 from the art dealer Dentaly (rue du jeune Anacharsis) by Bruno Vayson, first husband of Marie Labadié, for 120 francs; Marie, following the death of her second husband, Louis Grobet, in 1917, gave her collection to the city of Marseille in 1919; the museum opened to the public in 1925.
