Wing, left
Register 1: Adoration of the Magi.
Register 2: Annunciation; vase; dove of the Holy Spirit.
Wing, right
Register 1: Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist; Virgin raising both hands.
Register 2: Nativity and Annunciation to the Shepherds; swaddled Christ.

Gruyer 1902: France, 14th century.
Koechlin 1924: France, 2nd third of 14th century.
Paris 1930 and Bayonne 2002-2003: France, 14th century.

Hinges
Two metal hinges (probably later).

Polychromy - Gilding
Green staining.

Reverse
Flat and smooth. Traces of glue. Label with inscriptions: '1002', '12', '419'.

Object Condition
Broken around the hinges (repaired with pieces of ivory).
Upper right corner of the left wing broken and glued back into place. Multiple breakages in the left wing with some later repairs (part of the upper edge of the left wing; right hand of the Virgin). Also missing: left hand of the angel in the Annunciation scene.

Provenance
Collection of Léon Bonnat (b. 1833, d. 1922): his bequest in 1922.
