Saint Anthony abbot with tau-headed staff and bell; pig; saint Catherine of Alexandria with wheel and sword; crown; angel holding saint Veronica's veil with the Holy Face of Christ (Sancta Facies); clouds.
Unidentified coat of arms: head with ten flowers. Coats of arms with the 'IHS' monogram and the Arma Christi (crown of thorns; cross; nails?).
Carved inscription: 'Adoramus te'.
Roped borders; crosshatched background; columns.
Richter 2003: Netherlands or Northern France, c. 1470.

Traces of polychromy (possibly later): angel, letter 'e'.
Reverse
Curved. Incisions in the back where the handle should have been.
Object Condition
Vertical break in the lower part of the piece.
Missing the end of the 'Adoramus' word.
Three holes in the upper part of the panel. Border chipped in places.

Acquired in 1997 from a private collection.
