Hinges
Two missing ring hinges on the left side.

Reverse
Carved on the back: recessed with a trefoil arch. Raised border. Blue and white label with inscription: 'Collection Wernher no. 264'. Small label with inscription: '341'.

Object Condition
Flagellation column partly broken.

Comments
'the plaque almost certainly formed part of a polyptych of the Passion of Christ' (Williamson 2002). The position of the hinges implies that this piece must have been the final leaf on the right.
