Register 1: Betrayal (Taking of Christ; Kiss of Judas); Christ restores Malchus' ear, cut by saint Peter.
Register 2: Nativity and Annunciation to the Shepherds; swaddled Christ; musician shepherd holding a shawm.
Rounded trefoils. Beaded border on 3 sides.

Utrecht 1987: Flanders (?), last quarter of the 14th century.
Museum's opinion 2013: Flanders, 1st quarter of the 15th century.

Unknown

Hinges
Traces of two missing hinges on the right side.

Reverse
Flat and smooth.

Object Condition
Edges chipped. Central holes in the upper and lower part of the panel. Two more holes along the right side.

Provenance
Purchased by the Museum on 2 April 1954 from the Kunsthandel J. H. Wiegersma in Utrecht.
