Register 1: Crucifixion with the Virgin and saint John the Evangelist.
Register 2: Saint Margaret emerging from the dragon, holding a crucifix; saint Catherine of Alexandria with wheel and martyr's palm; saint Agnes with a lamb, a book and martyr's palm.

Koechlin Number: 0342bis

Koechlin 1924: France, 2nd half of the 14th century.
Chiesi 2011: France (Northern France?), 1360-1380.


Polychromy - Gilding
Traces of polychromy.

Reverse divided into 7 compartments, one being circular. Raised border on three sides and part of the fourth one.Handwritten inscriptions: '171', '112'.

Object Condition
Holes along the left side. Central hole in the upper part of the panel.

Carrand collection: bequeathed by Louis Carrand (d. 1888) to the Museo del Bargello in 1888.
